The elders are cooking at the Easter breakfast this Saturday.
Brother Joe Wyson gave us the lesson on President Nelsons talk from the Priesthood Session of General Conference titled, "We Can Do Better and Be Better"
Everyone should watch, listen to, or read this talk again because it's really great.
Here are some notes about some of the comments made during our lesson:
Bro. Duell - Repentance is a continual process of growth not a bad thing
Bro. Lata - The Lord’s battalion and the war that we are in.
Bro. Beck - repentance is a word of love.
Bro. Quinton - key to happiness and to avoid misery
Bro. Wennerlind - the Savior asks us to repent and that covers everything in our lives.
Bro. Dale Hunt - eternal progression means eternal repentance.
Bro. Wyson - Greek word metanoeo. Means to change mind knowledge spirit breath.
Repentance is not an event, it’s a process. When coupled with faith it opens our access to the power of Jesus Christ.
Experience the power of daily repentance.
