Talks
Mitchell Curtis spoke on teaching his kids to throw a frisbee is really teaching them patience, dedication, and resilience. To develop our families, we first need to develop ourselves. True repentance is turning away from sin and changing. Agency has to come with opposite choices. Without hell, there can’t be Heaven. It’s difficult to visit the temple and not feel the spirit that is within.
Nate Bigler spoke and loves having Mitchell Curtis in his ward. Is our grip firmly on the Savior? The Spirit will communicate with us as we strive to bless our families.
Second Hour
Elders Quorum
Matt Saunders led the lesson. He asked us to describe our house. What’s the difference between a house and a home?
For it to be a home, someone has to live in it. It’s a place where the Spirit of God resides.
Bro Wennerlind challenged us to identify where we are on the covenant path.
Relief Society
Elder Renlund "Choose You This Day" why choices are so important. choices are like a fork in a road and determine our destiny. we all made the important choice to follow the Savior's plan and come to earth.
the relief society topic for may 12th will be "A home is where the spirit of the Lord dwells. " by President Eyring. This will be our mother's day gathering. All sisters and the young women will attend Relief Society. The brethren will cover primary and nursery.

Primary
Greetings from primary! we want to encourage all children to be listening to the primary music cd we have handed out. If you don't have yours please ask one of the members of the primary presidency and we'll get you one. In particular, we are working on the song "Build an Ark" and it would really help the children if they could learn it at home in addition to on Sunday. The children will also be singing on mother's day in two weeks, and we ask that you help them by listening to the two songs they will be singing that day. You can find them on churchofjesuschrist.org or other church music sites and apps. The songs are "Mother I Love You" and "I Often Go Walking." If you have a cub scout, see the flyer below for information about the Cub Scout Day Camp coming up soon!
