Sacrament Meeting
Announcements
Ward temple night Fri June 27th at 6pm
Bishop Burnham and Brother England just got back from girls camp.
This Saturday at 3pm will be Ipolani Haina's family funeral service.
The last building cleaning assignment is this Saturday.
Hanna Stringham
First time at girls camp. Did not like the horses but rode a horse named Teddy anyway.
Josie Ballard
Actually learned something amid the chaos; don’t talk about scary things at night because you never know when the power will go out. Used charades to communicate with everyone about getting horses to cross the bridge.
Libby Meek
Also terrified of horses. Camp brought her closer to Christ. Spiritual challenge was about self-love. Had to list 10 things that she loves about herself. Every word is in the scriptures for a reason.

Testimony meeting at girls camp was spiting and infectious. At girls camp, you learn that you’re not alone.
Stephanie Gregor
She got bruised up at camp a bit but had a great time. First camp experience. We’re a band of sisters. Loved how the girls effectively jumped into the horse leading activity. Also loved the testimony meeting. Liked Annabelle Carino’s words which said, “Keep your words soft and sweet in case you have to eat them.”
Toni Garza
Been in the ward for 2 months and 2 years. Was camp director this year. Went to Rockin R Ranch in Antimony, UT. Camp theme was “If you love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15. 22 girls went to camp and 6 leaders. Lots of physical and spiritual activities. Apparently, horses are a lot like the gospel. Mya Burnham ate a live caterpillar. Bishop Burnham is deceivingly fast. The girls becoming friends is what she considers as a successful girls camp.
Mollie Sekikawa
Loved her hair, voice, and a bunch of other stuff she said really fast. Self-love is required to make it through. Live the gospel. Choose to be happy. Don’t be negative mean or angry. Work hard and study. Grateful for the time with the girls at camp.

Christine Foote led us in a discussion on Elder David Homer's talk "Hearing His Voice".
We discussed the many ways the Spirit communicates with us and how He communicates with the same person in multiple ways. Answers can be slow coming at times. There are many reasons that we don't get answers at times, but the Spirit will not let us make a mistake without warning us.

Message from the stake Relief Society: Heavenly Father blesses us with a continual flow of kindness. In turn, we can also bless others with kindness. This quote was taken from a talk by Barbara A. Lewis (Utah). The talk is titled "Kindness".
It is our hope that each of us will think before we speak and be mindful of others around us.
With love,

Elders Quorum
Lata move on Tuesday at 5:30
Matt Saunders was released as elders quorum instructor.
Chris Garza was called as elders quorum instructor.
Matt Saunders led the lesson on Sister Becky Craven’s talk “Careful Versus Casual”
Can you be careful and casual at the same time? Maybe not because those words are antithetical (click for definition). It’s not blank and white but gray. We need to get out of the gray and into the white.
Judgment is the Lord’s.
Casual = Comfortable
Careful = Intentional
As parents, we need to be intentional about our actions because our children will pick up on all that we do.
Loyd Fox said the prayer
