We strive in all things for the prize of living again in our heavenly Father’s presence.
We hear wonderful stories and fellowship with friends and benefit greatly from our church attendance.
Time is relative. When the Lord says “Not many days hence”, it can mean a short time in the grand scheme, but it may still be a lifetime away.
Has a daughter who sings primary hymns.
Sunday School
Ben Nicholes led the lesson on Acts 5-13
We covered the apostle Steven, who was stoned to death for preaching the teaching of Jesus in the synagogues. We also covered Simon, and how his heart was not in the right place and finished with Phillip, where he baptizes the Ethiopian eunuch. There was a short discussion on what became of the Ethiopian.

Relief Society
We are asking members of each ward to donate lunchboxes with water bottles. Our goal is for each ward to donate at least 20 lunchboxes and water bottles. These lunchboxes and water bottles will be given to students who are in need of assistance. Please turn them into the Relief Society presidency. We will need to collect all the lunchboxes and water bottles by July 8th so there is time to distribute them before school begins August 12th. Each child in Clark County should have the opportunity to go to school with confidence and the opportunity to succeed. We can do this by helping with this great community service project. Any questions please contact your ward relief society or stake relief society.
Young Womens
There will be an activity this week at the normal time with the leaders who were just released.
Primary
Our sacrament meeting program is coming up on September 22. Please have your children listening and singing along to the cd that contains the music for the program. If you need a cd contact one of the members of the primary presidency. Many thanks to our primary workers who were released today: Aramantha Sam, Jessica Meek, Sydney Hunt, and Teira Nicholes. We appreciate your service! Thanks also to Ben Nicholes who was recently released. We welcome new teachers Mollie Sekikawa, Shari Sanderson, Robert Sanderson, Marnie Barbee, and Kristen Beals. We are blessed to have you in primary!

Missionary Dinners - Please invite our awesome sister missionaries over to your home for dinner! You can call them anytime at 702-203-7341
- On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.
- On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed. They like red meat.
It'll be a blessing no matter what.
