Sacrament Meeting
Announcements
- The Temple Prep Class - This will start on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7pm in the Relief Society room. It will be in conjunction with our regular gospel study meetings. All are invited to attend.
- The Las Vegas Temple will be closed for extensive renovations until 18th of November. Please continue to attend the temple regularly at the St. George temple until our temple re-opens.
- President Nelson will be giving a devotional at BYU on Sept. 17th @ 10:05 am.
- All those in the ward who work with the youth need to have their youth protection training done by next Sunday. This is very easy to do and can be accomplished by logging into your lds.org account.

He is the first counselor in Sunday school presidency.
And he is the single adult representative for our stake.

Satan wants our light to be dim.
Most stories of Christ show him reaching out to those who don’t fit in.
Satan’s darkness persuaded us to withdraw from each other for various fear-based reasons.
He is here because people in the ward reached out to him.

Timothy was a young man who Paul saw as a very good leader in the Church and he relied on him heavily.
Charity is genuine care for others at its core. It can be manifest in many different ways that might not seem obvious. But if you are caring about others, then you are doing it.
If Ben didn’t marry Teira, he would have been destroyed.
He also smashed his big dad hand on the table when his kids were quarreling. They deserved it though.

Primary
Everyone in Primary is invited to Amaya Adams' baptism on Saturday, September 28 at 11:30am. Pinewood Derby for Activity Day girls on September 21. Race time slots are 9:00am, 10:00am, and 11:00am, with the champion race at 1:00pm. I am not sure when Bermuda Ward's time slot is, yet.
