Two worldly definitions of charity
-An organization that helps those in need
-Giving money to those in need
The scriptural definition of charity is much more than either of those.
He took it easy on Jeff Flagg when they used to play basketball back in the day.

Relief Society
Linda Hunt led the Relief Society in a discussion about the General Conference talk given by Tad R. Callister titled "The Atonement of Jesus Christ". He compares sin to the law of gravity. If we jump from an airplane we are subject to the law of gravity, just as when we sin there are unavoidable consequences. The Atonement is like having a parachute when jumping from the plane. But, the parachute won't help unless we pull the cord, just as the Atonement won't save us unless we repent, have faith and work to overcome our weaknesses.

We must repent and accept the Atonement of the Saviour in order to have the blessings afforded us thru Christ's Sacrifice.

Please work with your children on their speaking parts for our primary program. Also continue to have them listen to the CD To learn the music and words. Our program will be on September 22. Feel free to invite family and friends.

- On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.
- On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed. They like red meat.
It'll be a blessing no matter what.
