Sacrament Meeting
Announcements
  • The Temple Prep Class is canceled this week. 
  • The Las Vegas Temple will be closed for extensive renovations until the 18th of November. Please continue to attend the temple regularly at the St. George temple until our temple re-opens. 
  • The Trunk or Treat is on Tuesday at 6pm at our church building.
  • Building cleaning this Saturday at 8:00 am

Reah Roberts 
Building a home out of town. 
It’s nice to see the ward family. 
Told a story for the youth. 
The Telegraph was ticking out the message but most people didn’t understand it. 
The Holy Ghost is always telling us how to progress but we have to learn how to hear Him. 
There are 2 parts to hearing: getting a response and listening.
She had some helpers from primary come up and answer questions. 
Israel Barlow was the one who found the location for Nauvoo. The prophet gave him specific instructions to go deliver a message to someone and told him to also listen to the Spirit. He did and was guided perfectly to escape a mob that was trying to catch him. 

Kevin Roberts
Doesn’t remember calling Bro. Pierce. 
What does a fresh start mean to us?
He is not a night person. 
He sometimes needs a Snickers. 
Loves mornings.
Told the story about the woman who touched the Savior's clothes and was healed. 


Relief Society

Congratulations to Lucy Nicholes on her baptism and confirmation! We welcome her as an official member of the Church and primary!

Missionary Dinners - Please invite our awesome sister missionaries over to your home for dinner! You can call them anytime at 702-203-7341
  • On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.  
  • On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed.

The temple will be closed from September 9th to November 8th.

Employment Networking

Please take some time this week to reach out to those in our ward who haven't been out to Church for a while. Let them know we miss them and care about them.
