Announcements
  • Please attend the temple! The renovations look great! 
  • Building cleaning this Saturday at 8:00 am
  • Remember to go and see Bishop Burnham for tithing settlement. 
  • Musical Christmas Celebration, Finding Hope in Christ Sunday, 12/15 at 6pm at the building on Warm Springs/Valle Verde.
  • Choir practice is at the Wyson's house this Wednesday at 5:45 pm. 355 Torino Ave.

Sister Pereyra
From Rigby, ID
Has been on her mission for 8 weeks
The Light the World campaign has been around for a few years
Family makes Christmas special
The motto for Light the World this year is One-by-One
How can we share Christ with others?
Try and spend time with someone new.

Sister Graddy
Has been in this ward since June
Family is from AZ
Her mail gets her really fast
The giving machine. It’s a big vending machine that the Church puts around in different cities. You can buy essential things for people around the world.
Acts of service are a big part of Christmas.
She is in 3 Nephi currently and wants to finish the Book of Mormon by the end of the year.
Started her mission in July of last year. Her first 6 months were rough.
She got a mom hug from sister Evans and it helped her out a lot.
Now she only has a couple of weeks left and she is feeling much happier.
2 Nephi 2:8
She wonders if the people who were there when the Savior was born understood the impact that he would have.

Matt Pierce
Was ticked when he got his mission call to St. Louis.
Visited the Mitchell family and they had just had a drive by shooting a week before. There were bullet holes and everything.
Got in to a rap battle with real gangsters and later talked friendly trash to them and realized that this mission was perfect for him.
Has delusions about playing in the NBA. Something to do with a scar on his knee.
The promptings of the Holy Ghost have influenced many major things in his life.

  • On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.  
  • On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed.

Please take some time this week to reach out to those in our ward who haven't been out to Church for a while. Let them know we miss them and care about them.
