Katherine Beck
Grateful for the people who helped them move and also for the whole Bermuda Ward
The Savior suffered so that we could be spared from suffering.
Had a special experience when her first daughter was born. She realized that her
love for her child was so great that she would willingly go through the long pain and
discomfort of childbearing all over again just to be with her daughter. She then
realized that it’s the same way with our Savior.
Bobby Beck
Also sad to be leaving the ward.
The Foote’s allowed them to rent their home on short notice.
The Flagg’s quickly befriended them and so did Bro Pierce.
Grateful to everyone else that they served with and were served by.
They are only moving 3 miles away.
We shouldn’t expect that life will be easy because it wasn’t easy for the Savior either.
Was asked to serve in a bishopric 3 months before an important medical school test.
One of his friends saw it as a negative and another friend saw it as a blessing. Later
he struggled with the test and with matching to a medical school and felt let down by
the Lord. Later though, he realized that everything was all good and worked out
anyways.
Remember during Christmas that we have a Savior. This means that we’re going to
be saved.
Relief Society
In Relief Society we discussed President Nelson's talk about the second great commandment, loving our neighbor as ourselves. Since the church began it's humanitarian efforts in 1982, the church as a whole has donated over two billion dollars worldwide to help our neighbors. We are encouraged to look for ways we can reach out and help those that are in need. Check out the "Giving Machine". It is by Macy's in the Summerlin shopping center. There are many ways to help by donating through the machine from $2.00 and up. The monies can be donated locally or internationally.
Young Women/Young Men
We will be going Christmas caroling this Tuesday at 6:15. Please meet at the England's house.

Primary
We would like to thank Sister Kathryn Beck and Brother Bobby Beck for their devoted service in Primary. We love them so much and will really miss them and Kayla, Scott, and Hailey
Please take time with your primary children this week to study the story of the birth of Christ, so they will be prepared to take part in the nativity program at our ward party on Saturday. They have been assigned parts today in primary. Please help them to know their places in the nativity.
We heard a wonderful story about Gracious George the Gingerbread Man, who spread kindness by helping others. Sister Ann Taylor, our awesome Primary Music Leader, encouraged the children to find ways to serve those around them. Click on the link below to get the full story. It would make a great Family Home evening lesson!

This week our families are studying Revelations 1-11
Missionary Dinners - Please invite our awesome sister missionaries over to your home for dinner! You can call them anytime at 702-203-7341
- On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.
- On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed.
