Recently returned from a mission in Bayside CA. 
Reverence quote. 
Recognize sacred things in our lives. 
Terrified to start telling people that we go by the full name of the church. 
The life of Jesus Christ impacts our lives. 
Our physical bodies are the greatest of God’s creations and deserve our reverence. 
We should show reverence to our meeting houses. 
The sacrament is the most important thing we do each week. 
Of the 12 spies that Moses sent into the promised land, Caleb and Joshua tried to persuade the Israelites that they could handle taking over the promised land. 
She had a companion who struggled with opening up and talking to people. 
“I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.“

Used to be a member of this ward back when we had Bishop Parmenter. 
Told the story of Lachoneus and how he spiritually prepared the Nephite army against the army of Giddianhi the robber. 
In Jewish culture, the word fear carries a different connotation. It means respect or reverence. Looking toward something with awe. 
Reverence for our feelings is very important. 
His wife always cleaned his parent's condo in St George when they used it and wanted to make sure her in-laws knew how much she appreciated the blessing of using it. 
A house of order is a place where all things are conducted properly and where all things are in their proper place.
A significant way we can show reverence to God is to respect His house. 
We should be diligent in caring for our meeting houses. 
He served in the Las Vegas Temple for 9 years. He appreciated the respect that almost all patrons showed for the House of the Lord.

  • On weekdays, the mission would like you to have a recent convert, a less active member, or a non-member present at the dinner.  
  • On weekends, anything goes. Get them over and get them fed.
