The Sekikawas knocked it out of the park today in sacrament meeting.

We meet each week at 9am at

Our 2nd-hour meetings will be held over Zoom.

Much changed during quarantine 

Pros and cons of online school provided opportunities for slacking and cheating but a voice in his head told him God would not want that. 


Tony Sekikawa

Has been a convert for 12 years

Was sealed to his family 5 years ago

Matt owes him golfing 

They are a baseball family

Not your typical LDS family, they don’t cheer for BYU sports

He gets choked up often when seeing his boys serve in the gospel

Can’t wait for the temple to reopen so he can do baptisms with his sons


Mollie Sekikawa

She loves good stories and is going to share one with us. 

Despite the threat of war, the church continued to send missionaries into Germany in the 1930s

She told the story of Elder Seibold escaping Germany. He was in a train station and began to whistle the hymn “Do What is Right” which attracted the attention of several other missionaries. 

He finally got out with a bunch of missionaries to Denmark. 

He decided to go back into Germany and see if there were any other missionaries he could help out. And there were. And he helped them get out just before the 2nd World War officially started. 

Speaking directly to the children: You are a child of God and He gives you gifts. You can show love to those around you. 

When you ask God for help, He will be there for you.
